Four months before she signed a deal with ABYSS company, Sandara, or DARA, was under YG Entertainment. The latter was her agency for 17 years.

After quitting YG Entertainment in May 2021, DARA released a statement, saying she was excited for what was to come.

At the time, she said that two of her shows, "Celeb Beauty" and "Video Star," would soon be over. She only has two projects in the pipeline.

But on top of this, DARA also gets countless invites to appear on radio shows and other TV programs.

In short, to say that she has a busy schedule is an understatement. She also promised to be more active on her YouTube channel.

The K-pop star also admitted that she was a bit nervous about moving from one agency to the next. But the staff and heads at ABYSS made her feel welcome.

DARA will soon make her comeback. She will also release new music as a K-pop soloist. She also plans to release a new album that she hopes her fans would love to listen to.

In December 2020, she revealed that the dating ban given to her by her agency affected all her relationships.
