The anticipation surrounding the reformation of Fifty Fifty, centered around Keena, is stirring global interest as fans eagerly await the emergence of a new star akin to the group's iconic 'Cupid'.

Auditions Commence in Singapore, Eyes Set on Thailand

On the 3rd of February, a preliminary audition to scout new talent for Fifty Fifty took place at the Kallang Place event hall in Singapore, orchestrated by the agency Attract.

Aspiring contestants from Southeast Asia, aged 14 and above, congregated for the audition. Those who successfully navigate this initial round will progress to the final audition scheduled in Thailand on March 2nd.

Global Talent Search Underway

Attract has cast its net wide, conducting auditions in various countries including Korea, Japan, and Singapore, with the aim of handpicking new members for Fifty Fifty.

Notable figures like David Yong of Evergreen Group Holdings, who pledged a hefty 10 billion won ($7542047.00) investment in Attract last August, were part of the audition panel.

"The caliber of talent showcased by the contestants has surpassed our expectations," remarked Yong, hinting at the uncertainty surrounding the final lineup of Fifty Fifty.

Aiming for a Rebirth

With plans to unveil a new song by June following the confirmation of the group's lineup in April, Attract is steering Fifty Fifty towards a fresh chapter.

Previously hailed as the 'miracle of small and medium-sized idols' for their chart-topping single 'Cupid', Fifty Fifty's journey has been marred by internal conflicts. Last June, members filed for a temporary injunction against Attract, but subsequent legal proceedings favored the agency.

Despite setbacks, Keena's return to Attract marked a symbolic turning point. The termination of contracts for other members signaled a strategic reshaping, effectively paving the way for a reimagined Fifty Fifty.

In a heartfelt letter commemorating her debut anniversary, Keena expressed gratitude for the learning experiences and vowed to reward fans with new music, setting the stage for a promising future as Fifty Fifty's torchbearer.
