Meovv will unveil its new digital single, "Burning Up," on October 14 at 6 p.m. KST, marking the South Korean girl group's first comeback since the release of their debut EP, My Eyes Open Wide, in May of this year.

TheBlackLabel dropped the title poster on October 11 via its official social media channels, showcasing the five members, Miyau, Suin, Gawon, Anna, Narin, and Ella, in vibrant high-teen styling that underscores their signature blend of youthful energy and fierce charisma.

The newly released poster captures Meovv in a playful yet intense pose, hinting at a song that promises to close out the lingering warmth of summer with a bold, energetic track. This announcement follows a series of teasers that have steadily ramped up anticipation: snippets of choreography set against retro Y2K-inspired visuals, cryptic videos exploring the group's "cat universe" identity, and a short music video teaser previewing both the hook and the single's signature dance moves.

Meovv first debuted on September 6, 2024, with the digital single "Meow," immediately signaling a dual concept that balances powerful dance sequences with softer, melodic moments. Their first EP, My Eyes Open VVide, arrived on May 12, 2025, led by the dual title tracks "Hands Up" and "Drop Top."

The former earned them their first music show trophy on M Countdown on May 8, while the latter solidified their reputation for dynamic performances and catchy choruses. Following their EP promotions, Meovv released a Japanese single, "Me Me Me," in late July, broadening their international footprint.

In early October, TheBlackLabel revealed a second title poster that contrasted the initial high-teen concept by presenting the members in edgier ensembles, see-through tops, camouflage patterns, and leather boots, emphasizing a more mature, hip sound. Alongside this image, the agency released a brief highlight clip of the forthcoming music video, teasing a choreography segment that blends sultry movements with sharp formations and an 8-bit pixel-style animation reminiscent of classic video games.

Industry insiders note that "Burning Up" will expand Meovv's musical spectrum, moving beyond the bright pop sounds of their debut era to embrace a cooler, trendier edge. With its anticipated drop coinciding with peak streaming hours in both Korean and international markets, the single is poised to showcase Meovv's evolving artistry and solidify their status as a rising rookie group in the K-pop scene.

Fans can stream "Burning Up" on all major music platforms starting October 14 at 6 p.m. KST. What this means for you: keep an eye on Meovv's official channels for behind-the-scenes clips and live performance announcements, as this comeback promises fresh concepts and exciting stages tailored to both longtime Pawmpawms and new listeners alike.
