The worldwide summer song "Butter" - which entered the chart on June 5 and stayed at the top of the "Hot 100" for seven consecutive weeks - handed over the 1st place to "Permission to Dance" on the chart last July 24. Then, it regained the top of the "Hot 100" on the chart on July 31. And as of August 7, it topped the "Hot 100" for the ninth time. Because of this, "Butter" has been awarded the title of "This year's Hot 100 number 1 Song".
