In an interview with Harper's Bazaar Singapore, Girls' Generation member Yoona revealed her skincare and beauty secrets. The idol stated that she wears make-up frequently, sometimes wearing products on her skin all day due to shoots.
Additionally, due to the pandemic, she is always wearing masks, which has made her skin more sensitive. With this in mind, Yoona revealed her skincare tips and tricks.
Yoona stresses the importance of rest and not tiring yourself out for good skin. She states that lifestyle is essential to get healthy skin, so one should have a regular daily schedule, as having an irregular schedule can worsen skin troubles. She also states that one should have good eating habits to have healthy skin. Yoona loves fresh fruits, and she drinks lots of water and sleeps early for good skin.

Yoona also recommends not touching your face frequently, as your hands constantly in contact with dirt and dust.
Yoona's skincare focused on prioritizing hydration and soothing care, as she is often wearing a mask due to the pandemic. Her tip for preventing maskne is cleaning and ensuring that her skin is well-hydrated. She also changes her mask frequently.

Yoona has revealed in the past that she has dry skin. To combat this, Yoona mixes two or three drops of facial oil with a moisturizing cream and applies that to her face. If she has a schedule outdoors, Yoona makes sure to use lots of facial creams to supplement absorption.
Yoona is a big fan of double cleansing, which means she often goes in with different forms of cleansers to remove all the dirt and grime from her face. She also uses a volcanic mask when she feels the need to deep cleanse her pores. After cleansing, Yoona applies a facial serum, which she states acts as a cushion to even out the skin tone.

The serum she uses is the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum Synchronized Multi-Recovery Complex. She uses the serum before going to bed, massaging the product into her skin so that the product gets absorbed. Yoona says that it makes her feel like she is getting professional care at home. She also adds that her skin not only feels healthy on the surface but from within. Applying serum keeps her skin feeling bouncy and deeply hydrated.
Yoona also applies a facial mask before bed if there is extra time.

On December 9, 2021, SM Entertainment revealed that Girls' Generation-Oh!GG will be participating in SMTOWN's upcoming winter album and online concert in 2022. Yoona will be participating in this group activity.
