On April 8, the fashion magazine Elle Korea shared a new video on its YouTube channel and SEVENTEEN Mingyu was the latest guest. The idol unveiled his favorite items and gave them names during the interview.

The "Rock with you" rapper first showed his black beanie, which he wears when he works out. What makes this item special for the idol is that it changes his appearance.

Mingyu said, "If you want your body to look bigger, your face should look smaller. It presses my hair as much as possible. This is my favorite beanie nowadays."
Since the beanie is placed on his head and makes it look small, he named the hat "Small Head."

The second item is what SEVENTEEN Mingyu described to be "something that I've been really loving for a long time." He then showed a long wallet and said, "This one has a story."

The "Ready to love" rapper shared that he bought the wallet about five to six years ago with his own money that he earned from his idol career.
"And this guy keeps on coming back. This one is truly amazing," he added.

Mingyu then said he keeps on losing this wallet but eventually found it one month or a couple of months after.
"I lost it, found it a month later. I lost it [again], found it after six months. I lost it [once more], got the card reissued, and found it again. I lost it [one more time], I was using another wallet, but this one came back," the rapper remarked.
Because of his wallet's history, he decided to bring it to his interview with Elle Korea and name it "Boomerang."

SEVENTEEN Mingyu went on to share, "Originally, I bought a big one thinking I might lose it if it was small. But I still lose it. But the time passed by, and I have a lot of business cards and credit cards now. So I'm very satisfied with it now."
"Actually, because of this, I can't buy any other wallet," he continued.

This past March, Mingyu participated in SEVENTEEN's sixth fan meeting, called "SEVENTEEN in CARATLAND." The event took place for three consecutive days, starting from the 25th to the 27th, at the Jamsil Auxiliary Stadium.

The first two days of the fan meeting only had in-person audience members, while the last day had online viewers as well. The offline events were limited to Korean citizens and foreigners living in South Korea due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.

SEVENTEEN Power of Love: The Movie
On April 15, Mingyu and his fellow SEVENTEEN members dropped their first English digital single, entitled "Darl+ing," as a pre-release for their fourth full-length album (which is due out in May).
On April 20 and 23, the boy group's first movie "SEVENTEEN Power of Love: The Movie" will be released in worldwide theaters (except for France and Japan where it will be shown on April 21 and 29, respectively).
