EPIK HIGH recently made a comeback in the K-pop scene and their new album "Epik High is Here" (Part 1) is doing well on Spotify.

Spotify is a well-known digital music, podcast, and video streaming service that makes it easy for people to access millions of songs and other content from artists across the globe. It also provides rankings of songs and albums from all over the world that are receiving the most support per day and every week, either in the United States or globally.

EPIK HIGH's "Epik High is Here" (Part 1) Enters Two Spotify Charts

On Tuesday, Jan. 26, Spotify released the charts containing the songs and albums that gained much love from Jan. 22 to 24. In particular, the "Top 10 US Album Debuts" and "Top 10 Global Album Debuts" charts were revealed, and they both include only one Korean act - the alternative hip hop group, Epik High.

Spotify's "Top 10 Album Debuts" is a chart that shows the rankings of the most popular albums among the new works by artists from around the world that have been launched in that certain week. In the "Top 10 US Album Debuts" chart, EPIK HIGH came in at No. 8 with their new album, "Epik High is Here" (Part 1). Guccihighwaters's "Joke's on You" precedes the Korean release, while Willie Jones' "Right Now" follows EPIK HIGH's work. Sitting at No.1 on the "Top 10 US Album Debuts" is Anuel AA & Ozuna's "Los Dioses," while at No. 10 is fourwalls' "Staring Contest."

As for the "Top 10 Global Album Debuts" chart, Epik High's "Epik High is Here" (Part 1) claimed the No. 10 position. The new album comes after Dinor Rdt's "Ronaldinor." Taking the top spot on the chart is once again the new release of Anuel AA & Ozuna.

These only prove how EPIK HIGH's return to the entertainment industry has made a huge impact on music lovers from all over the world. Not to mention, upon its release, "Epik High is Here" (Part 1) quickly landed on numerous charts.

EPIK HIGH's New Full-Length Album

On Jan. 18, the alternative hip hop group returned with the first installment of their 10^th full album, titled "Epik High is Here." Includes two title tracks, "Rosario," featuring CL and Zico, and "Based on a True Story" featuring Heize. Soon after these two songs came out, they grabbed the No. 1 and No. 2 spots on the real-time charts of Bugs and Genie, respectively.

On the same day at 8 p.m. KST, the album's 10 songs nearly dominated the Top 10 of Bug's real-time chart, with "Rosario" charting at No. 1. The title track also entered Melon's 24Hits chart, peaking at No. 8 on Jan. 19. Then, the next day, "Rosario" and "Based on a True Story" stayed strong at No. 1 and No. 2 both on Bugs and Genie, respectively.

Moreover, EPIK HIGH's new album managed to make it to the top 10 on US iTunes Album Chart. "Epik High is Here" (Part 1) is even being advertised on the biggest electronic display board in the middle of Times Square in New York City.
