Three K-Pop Songs Debut on This Week’s Billboard World Digital Song Sales Chart

On Wednesday, Jan. 27, Billboard announced that three K-pop songs debuted within the top 20 of the World Digital Song Sales chart. Additionally, twelve other K-pop songs remained on the chart for the week. Keep on reading to learn more.

The highest K-pop debut for the week is Epik High's song "Rosario," which features CL and Zico, debuting at number 11. The song was released on Jan. 18 and is included in their album "Epik High is Here," which is said to be part one of their tenth album. This is Epik High's eighth song to chart on the World Digital Song Sales chart. Their highest-ranking songs are "It's Cold (feat. Lee Hi)" and "Born Hater" (feat. Beenzino, Verbal Jint, B.I, Mino, and Bobby. Both songs ranked at number 5 in 2012 and 2014, respectively.
          

MONSTA X's song "Night View" debuted at number 13 on this week's charts. Members I.M and Joohoney helped co-write the song, and I.M also helped in the production and arrangement of the song. "Night View" can be found in MONSTA X's third studio album "Fatal Love," which was released on Nov. 2, 2020.

This is not the first time MONSTA X appeared on the charts, with their song "From Zero" peaked at number one in 2020. MONSTA X has had a whopping 21 songs chart on the World Digital Song Sales chart.

The third song to debut on the World Digital Song Sales chart is ONEUS's "No Diggity", debuting at number 18. "No Diggity" is the title track of the group's first studio album, "Devil," which was released on Jan. 19.

ONEUS has had three song charts on the said chart prior to "No Diggity." In 2020, their song "A Song Written Easily," peaked at number 11, making it their highest ranking song to date.

Of course, the chart still has songs that remained on the chart for weeks. As expected, BTS took up the majority of the spots among K-pop songs. The boys snagged a whopping seven spots on the list. Their current highest-ranking song on the chart is "Life Goes On," which sits at number 6 and has stayed on the ranks for 9 weeks.

"Euphoria," Jungkook's solo song, sits at number six and has remained on the charts for 49 weeks. Jimin's solo "Filter" has remained on the charts for 46 weeks and is currently sitting at number 8.

Another Jungkook solo, "My Time," is also on the charts, sitting at number 9 and spending its 46th week in the charts. "Black Swan" has remained on the chart for 16 weeks and is currently ranked at number 15. "Mic Drop (feat. Desiigner)" is ranked right after, sitting at number 16th and marking its 132nd week on the charts.

Lastly, "Boy with Luv (feat. Halsey)" is spending its 70th week on the chart at number 22.

BLACKPINK has two songs on the chart. The girl group's June 2020 release, "How You Like That", sits at number 7 and is spending its 29th-week on the chart. "Kill This Love," which was released in 2019, is spending is 81st week at number 21.

(G)I-DLE's "HWAA" is spending its second week at number two, previously peaking at number eight last week.

TWICE's retro-themed "I CAN'T STOP ME" is sitting at number 24 and is at its 13th week on the chart.

Finally, PSY's legendary song "Gangnam Style" re-entered the chart at number 25, marking its 351st week on the World Digital Song Sales Chart!
