(G)I-DLE's Korean Fan Base (Neverland) Demands Soojin's Withdrawal

Earlier on Feb. 23, Neverlands on DC Inside released a statement demanding CUBE Entertainment to release a statement concerning Soojin's alleged school violence. A second statement then followed this up on Friday, Mar. 5.

In the statement, they say, "CUBE Entertainment is responsible for the failure to meet the victim. Their explanation that the victim did not meet with them because they did not want to does not help in resolving the case. Stop providing the victim's more ammo for a second attack."

On Mar. 5, CUBE Entertainment released a statement saying that no meeting with the victim took place, as the victim had chosen not to meet with them.

Fans were upset with CUBE Entertainment, saying, "There was a fight, but the accusations of school violence are not confirmed. The fact that no meeting with the victim took place raises more suspicion, and it shows the label has abandoned the duty of protecting their artists. You are deceiving fans and making a mockery of the public who is watching the incident."

Fans also expressed anger over (G)I-DLE continuing as five members with Soojin. In response to this, (G)I-DLE's fan club stated, "If there is no additional statement or if there is a lack of information, we will proceed and boycott Soojin."

"The agency's statement alone does not provide any explanation for the school violence and the fact that it was committed. Their statement is also not convincing. The unclear position is causing damage to the whole group. We will proceed with the boycott if there is no additional statement that allows people to understand the situation concerning Seo Soojin's alleged school violence," said the fan club.

The Allegations Against (G)I-DLE's Soojin + Was She a Bully?

Back on Feb. 20, a user on Instagram claimed that Soojin had bullied her sister, stating the idol slapped her sister and her sister's friend and also instigated bullying through group chats. Many also claimed that Soojin smoked and drank underage, hung out with older men who rode motorcycles, stole money and people's uniforms, and dressed inappropriately. Soon, numerous netizens released their own testimonies concerning (G)I-DLE Soojin's alleged school violence.

CUBE Entertainment released a statement, saying the allegations against Soojin were false and that the rumors against Soojin stemmed from a phone argument between the first poster and Soojin. Soon after, Soojin released a letter to her fans, admitting to dressing inappropriately and smoking out of curiosity. However, she denied all the other claims made against her.

One notable suspected victim of Soojin's bullying is actress Seo Shin Ae, who went to the same middle school as Soojin. Once the claims against Soojin went viral, she shared a cryptic Instagram Story that read "None of your excuses."

Following CUBE Entertainment's statement, she shared another Instagram Story; a screenshot of her listening to "Therefore I Am" by Billie Eilish.

Several testimonies claimed that Soojin bullied Seo Shin Ae out of jealousy, but some have claimed these rumors are false.

Seo Shin Ae recently released an Instagram post talking about having a "frozen heart" but breaking the winter in her heart and becoming a ray of sunshine. It is being speculated to be a response to (G)I-DLE Soojin's bullying rumors.
